David G. Watkinson, B.Sc., P.Eng.
President, Chief Executive Officer, Director – Emgold Mining Corporation and Subsidiaries
David Watkinson brings over 30 years of professional engineering experience in underground and open pit mine development, including mine permitting, engineering, feasibility, construction, and operations to Emgold. In addition, he has extensive experience in project management, having taken projects from grass roots start-up to successful operating status. Mr. Watkinson has been responsible for management of large capital projects and operations in Canada, the United States and the Philippines. He has held progressively senior positions with Placer Dome Inc., Kinross Gold Corporation, Thyssen Mining Construction and Vulcan Materials Company. Mr. Watkinson holds a B.Sc. in Applied Science, Mining Engineering, from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario (1985) and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Rosner has significant experience as a mining industry entrepreneur and executive. He currently serves as Director, President and CEO of Lucky Minerals, Director and CFO of Chimata Gold Corp, as well as holds Director and Executive positions on several Canadian and USA based public companies. Mr. Rosner has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry and acted as an officer and director of both Canadian and U.S. listed companies, providing senior management of reporting compliance, oversight and fiduciary capacities, and directing corporate activities. He also has significant experience in Initial Public Offerings, Mergers & Acquisitions, and reverse takeovers.
Steve Cozine brings over 25 years of experience in venture capital markets as an officer and director of publicly listed companies in the mining, industrial and high-tech sectors. His experience covers a wide range of corporate management duties with a focus on governance and regulatory compliance, project management, corporate finance including private funding and prospectus offerings, human resources, strategic planning and corporate operations.
Andrew MacRitchie, B.Sc., CA
Chair of Audit and Corporate Governance Committees, Independent Director
Andrew MacRitchie has over 16 years of experience in various mineral exploration finance and accounting roles. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a B.Sc. Honours degree from the University of British Columbia. He is Chief Financial Officer of Skeena Resources Limited, Eros Resources Corp., and and other junior exploration-stage resource companies. Assisted in raising over $100 million in funding for a number of TSX Venture Exchange listed companies.
Julien Davy, MSC, MBA, P. Geo.
Julien Davy is a professional geologist with exploration and management experience in Canada and abroad. He has been involved in property acquisition, mine investment, and corporate management. He has a master’s degree from Université du Québec à Montréal and an MBA from HEC in Montréal. He has held the position of President at Stria Lithium and Senior Exploration Geologist at Osisko Mining Corporation Canada and was an investment consultant for SIDEX s.e.c. of Montréal. He also worked for NioGold Mining Corporation in Val-d’Or, Hecla Mining in Venezuela, Cambior Exploration Canada, Anglo-American Exploration, and the Ministry of Natural Resources of Québec. In 2015, Mr. Davy co-founded Eureka Exploration, a private exploration company, which was sold to Tarku Resources (TSXV: TKU) in June 2017. Since that time, he has been President and CEO of Tarku Resources. Mr. Davy is a former Director of the Quebec Mineral Exploration Association (“QMEA” or “AEMQ”), member of the Ordre des Géologues du Quebec (“OGQ”) and is Qualified Person (QP) according to National Instrument 43-101.
Vincent Garibaldi, LLB.
Mr. Garibaldi is a member of BCF LLP business law team where he specializes in mergers and acquisitions, securities, and financing for public and private companies. In this role, Vincent advises businesses on how to seek financing from the general public and on the exempt market. He holds a Master Degree in Business Law, Université d’Aix-Marseille, LL.B., Civil Law and a Master Degree in Economic Law, Institut de Droit des Affaires d’Aix-enProvence. Mr. Garibaldi is a member of the Paris Bar since 2015 and the Quebec Bar since 2017.
